perhapsalittleunfortunate.YoumightthinkthatWaveRepairisa
programforfixingbrokenWAVfiles(eg.withinvalidheaders),which
itisn't.Inhindsight,Ishouldhavechosenadifferentname,but
I'mstuckwithitnow.

Itisa32bitprogramthatrunsonallversionsofWindowsfrom
Windows98onwards.Notethatfromrelease4.9.1,itnolongerruns
onWindows95.Thisisbecauseitwasnecessarytochangetheprogram
helptoaCHMfileinordertomaintaincompatibilitywithWindows
Vista,andCHMfilesarenotsupportedbyWindows95.

WaveRepairisnotageneralpurposedigitalaudioeditor(in
particular,itdoesnotincludesarbitrarycopy/cut/pasteeditingof
WAVfiles).Rather,WaveRepaireasesmanyofthetasksthatare
requiredduringrestorationofmusicrecordedfromvinylrecords,and
whichareoftendifficultusinggeneralpurposetools.Iwroteit
becauseIwasunabletofindanaffordableWAVfileeditorwhich
performedthesetaskseasily.
